All is now set for 2019 of the Miss Somolu Beauty Pageant, (MSBP) the  event a beauty based competition  is designed to bring out   beautiful and intelligent female  among young girls between the ages of 18-30.within the community with of showcasing them to the world also the project  aimed at promoting the city and rich cultural heritage of somolu.

VICTOR ISAAC OJEH, VICTORY OBASI AND OTHERS WON BIG AT MR & MISS NIGERIA INTERNATIONAL 2018.

Recently the popular  event center , Ruby Gardens Lekki ,Lagos, played host to the 7th edition of  Mr. and Miss Nigeria International  pageant , the first and  only mixed  pageant in the country, tagged  heritage edition,  the grand finale  featured Contest  parade , Music, comedy and award presentation to some outstanding Nigerians.

In his welcome address ,the Chief executive officer of Brendance & Crusader Ltd, the organizers of the event ,Brendan Nsikak, thanked those who have been supporting the pageant since inception, in his words " To everyone that has been there for us ,since we started , thank you for letting us in and for helping us forward, also I would like to  give thanks to the Almighty Father for bringing us thus far and giving us the strength, courage faith and determination to succeed" he submitted.

This year's edition was well organized  from picking and auditioning of the contestants, they emerged by voting to be the top choice of camping for the main event. With a total of 29 contestants , from age 17 - 25, each contestant represented  his or her respective  culture and states across  the country. The event kick started with an elaborate Red Carpet and followed by the main event ,it was an event to be remembered.

 The grand finale was jam packed with lots of entertaining activities by the contestants, important guests, first class guest artists, distinguished jury members with supportive audience, Some of the artistes who added glamour to the event included  Nigerian Hip Hop Icons, EEDRIS ABDULKAREEM, TERRY RAPMAN, M-TRILL, along side OBAWAVER, SURPRIZE, IZU, ROMEO MAX, ROCK NANA among others.

There was also  guest appearances by Hip Hop Legend/Entrepreneur, AMBASSADOR ELAJOE, MC GALAXY, Hon. Chairman of Ijebu Ode LGA, Epe LGA, TOYIN LAWANI, Veteran Actress, NGOZI NWOSU and many others.

 The Jury: Mr. & Miss Nigeria International has a reputation for attracting National and Internationally acclaimed jury members. This year's jury were the important heart of the Competition.choosing the winners was a very difficult because each of the contestant has something to offer,
